My boyfriend is 25 and I’m 19, soo… I mean, I was dating him when I was 19 and he was 24 for like a week.

But anyway, I don’t think there is really a standard rate set for how fast a relationship has to move. Just take your relationship for what it’s worth and let it work it’s own course. Each relationship honestly is different. It depends on where you both are at in life and how mature each of you are. As in… he may be looking to settle down with someone fairly soon and maybe have a family with while you still want to get out there and enjoy your youth for what it’s worth. Or maybe he still wants to party all the time and you do too? Or neither of those, I hope you get what I mean.

For myself, in the beginning I was a little wary of giving my years of many-a-flings with different guys, meeting more people my age, etc. for someone who was 6 years older than myself. He was worried about the age difference too. But after a few months into it, we agreed to be more serious and the rest is all history.

The only thing that irks me to this day about the huge age gap is the fact that he can legally drink and I can’t (I don’t know if that’s an issue or not for you). It has made it really hard for me to be able to bond with him Friday nights and meet his friends. But all in all, it’s good and I don’t regret my choices. It’s been a year an a half.

PLUS. Guys his age are biologically programmed to like girls your age. (At least I tell myself this.)

dont go too fast, because that could end badly. talk to him tell him how you feel BE HONEST thats always the way to go. everyone is different, take it the speed you feel is right for you

in the beggining i think things should move slow but not too slow..
i think you should share your feelings and let the guy know what you are looking for in the relationship
continue to get to know him and find out what his likes and dislikes are

Well I am in this weird(but fantastic) relationship with a guy that is 28 and I’m 21. And the age difference has nothing to do with our relationship we both are very independent and at the same time when we are together we act very silly and childish, so move as fast as you fell just be sure that you guys are on the same track

Your about adults so there is no rule or answer. I suggest whenever something seems real good to take it slow and easy, so you don’t mess it up.
