i am very weak.
how can i build muscle and get stronger without a gym.
i can't buy any dvds or go to a gym or buy something cuz i got no money.
so can anyone give me any tips to get stronger with using stuff at home?
Do push-ups for your chest, sit-ups for abs, tricep dips on a chair for the back of your arms,Use your clothesline or something hanging and do chin-ups for your biceps on different days not the same workout every day and squats for your legs holding something thats not too heavy Problem solved

Any body weight exercises 2 build muscles???? Suggest me with a good workouts and routines//
Push-ups are very good. But most people think of the simple ones, but there are many different types of push-ups that work different parts of your upper body. Wide, Regular, Diamond, Feet elevated, one-handed, all of these work different parts of the chest/arms. And you will find yourself using muscles you didn’t even know you had. As for lower body, running is the Holy Grail of workouts. But for strength, lunges and squats work perfectly.

Like what indoor thing is used to build muscles on the back . inddor such as push ups or u know sit ups
Pull-ups are good for back strength, but most people are not strong enough to do them.
You can do the “Flexed Arm Hang” to help build up enough strength to do pull-ups.

im 14 and the last time i ran a 100 m i was timed 11:98 that was like 5months ago im6'0 and im on 120 lbs im trin to improve my time oh and when i ran 11:98 i was running with a different method my friend thought me a method to run with more bounce and take longer strides without knowing it now heres wat i need help with usually at the end at the 100 m i tend to get burned out anyone can help me with this and can any one give me pointers on how to build muscles without lifting weights or anything like that
If you want to be stronger to run you will need to do a total body workout and also lots of abdominal and core muscle work. You should be doing plyometrics 2 days per week. you can work on your form and being able to maintain your speed without tiring at the end of the race. Everyone slows a little, it is your being relaxed that will allow you to maintain more speed thorough out the entire race. You can do body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, etc., but you will progress faster with weights.

I weigh about 250, so I figure that just by sheer size, doing push-ups will build muscle, but I don't feel or see results. I'm looking to strengthen and more importantly, build muscle:triceps, shoulders(front, middle, back) and pecs. Let me know any other things I can do besides push-ups that will work my shoulders.
The reason you don't feel is SEE the results is that push-up are just for conditioning not building muscles. You need a serious weight strenthing program, by lifting weights "BIG" weights you get big muscles…small weight such as push-ups don't do much. Join a gym, learn it, do it…and build!

I know sit ups and crunches arent really gonna build MUSCLE…it will a bit tho…but I need to get more muscle. I know stomach muscle is what helps the back stand up…the lower back…and i think thats my problem. i have stomach fat which i am doing cardio for…but im not gonna be doing much for my back if i dont have stomach muscle. what are excercises i can do at home to build muscle?
There are a whole litany of exercises that you can do at home with or without weights that will tone and build muscle. You should try a squat exercise with or without light weights. You should also try a deadlift with light weights. Squats and deadlifts work many muscles and burn a lot of energy & fat - deadlifts especially. You can also do push ups, which work the entire body, with emphasis on the shoulders, arms and chest. Another great exercise is a squat thrust or burpee. I suggest that you check out the exercises and techniques of Cross Fit. They are fast, hard, and productive. I have not belonged to a gym in years; I work out in my garage with minimal equipment and get great results.

Does anyone know of a good, tried and proven bodybuilding program to become buff quickly with absolutely no steroids or metabolic drugs?
I've tried before but didn't see any results after a few months so I lost my motivation.
Also, I'm 19 if age makes any difference.
To build your body, rest and nutrition play a more important role than doing the exercise. You may be surprised to hear that and so that may be the reason you didn't see results. If you are eager to get back to your training, what I would suggest is just do the lifting and enjoy the process, about how much muscle you can gain is another story, your metabolism is still high because you are young, give it time and a few months is definitely NOT long enough.
Give yourself 3 months to learn the form and techniques, then you go for working your major groups of muscles first. Then you start working on the small ones.
Day 1
(1) Flat bench press (1 warm-up set + 5 sets)
(2) Incline DB press (4 sets)
(3) Arm dips (3 sets)
(4) Pecdeck fly (2 sets) >> adjust the handles your elbows don't go too far towards the back
Day 2
(1) Lat pull-down (1 warm-up set + 5 sets) don't do behind-the-neck variation
(2) BB bent-over row (4 sets) look at the mirror and be careful
(2) Chin-up (3 sets)
(3) Seated row (2 sets)
Day 3
(1) BB biceps curl (1 warm-up set + 5 sets)
(2) Cable biceps curl (4 sets)
(3) Triceps push-down (5 sets)
(4) Triceps kick-back (3 sets)
(5) Crunches (3 sets) not sit-ups
Day 4
(1) Full squat (1 warm-up set + 4 sets)
(2) Leg extension (2 sets) >> use lighter weight
(3) Lying leg curl (3 sets)
(4) Shoulder DB press (5 sets)
(5) Lateral raise (2 sets)
For each exercise you need to have 1 but not all sets to positive failure. The above is NOT the best way, but do it for 3 months and add more sets change your routine later on. When you are younger, one of the differences is you recover more quickly and you can do them more frquently but be careful of misjudgment can lead to overtraining yourself.
^_^ good luck

Also, if you happen to know, exactly what muscles do push ups build. Are push ups good if you want to like, look good for the summer?? Like do they build muscles that are easily visible?
Sit-ups, traditionally, will only define the abdominals. There are variations of sit-ups that will build core strength. Core strength is imperative to doing a solid bench press.
Push-ups and bench presses will generally work the same muscle groups: the lats & deltoids in the back, the pecs in the chest, the opposing muscle groups of the bi- and tri-ceps in the arms. There are smaller, stabalizing muscles around the shoulders that will get fatigued as well when doing either exercise.
Both exercises would be a great way to look good this summer, but back and chest. Do pull-ups (NOT the lat pull down machine) to work the rest of your upper body. Learn different variations of your sit-ups to develop your core body strength. The number-one way to have a strong back is to have strong abdominals and obliques. Do body squats and broad jumps for your legs. Do not do leg extensions on the machines or calf raises.
Good luck.

I’m a little guy. Pretty short for my age and skinny - very skinny. I’m looking to build a little bit of muscle in my arms and chest to both gain some weight and look less scrawny. I’m not a gym kind of guy and mainly want to stick to push ups, sit ups and other things I can do at home. Any suggestions?
I would recommend doing slow repetitions. If you have barbells at home, don’t do too many reps, rather, do more sets of fewer reps using larger/heavier weights. This usually builds muscle so that it doesn’t stay toned, but leaning more towards the “brolic” look You should also look into buying protein shakes or buying the powder to make it yourself. Always have rest between “workout days”, so that your muscles can grow.
Hope that helped.
and I gained this information from my gym teacher, who used to be a personal trainer, as well as from my friends who are into building up their body
